The painting is inspired by a dream I had a few years ago, where I was exploring a kind of weird, psychedelic tunnel. The more I worked on the painting, the more this dream became reality.
I wanted to give this paining a name, so I asked: “If this painting could make a sound or a noise, what would it sound like?” After mumbling some random words and weird noises, I came to the conclusion that it sounded just like Tikiwayana! And here we are!
